We have started using & really like Jenni-O hotdogs, turkey bacon & lunch meats. Since both of us have to be more careful about the cholesterol & such it is a good tasting substitute. I am wondering where did it go? Our store has not had that & when asking the clerk he said maybe they quit making it. HUH?! Really????

Does anyone know about this? .............. makes great BLT & the hotdogs are very good grilled.
Thanks so much!

Jenni-O has a huge website, call their customer service and check what stores in your area carry their products.

We grew up near a big turkey plant in NW Wi. My brother was HS friends with the owner's son. They had jobs wrangling turkeys into the trucks during the summers, came home all scratched up. They were bought out by Hormel in Mn. and Jennie-0 got well-know--the son who took over was even in a national Women's Day ad. The Biggest Loser made them famous, so they wouldn't change it.

Our Kroger's carry it, but note some chains will contract to carry only their brand + one like Tyson, so check your other grocers.

See if you have 30 oz. Honeysuckle turkey tenderloin packages too.
I get them when they're priced buy-one-get/one-free at Kroger. Each pkg. can be split into 2 big portions before freezing. They bake up fast like yummy TG turkey breast for sandwiches and soups. I actually have to freeze leftovers or H. would "gobble" them all in one meal, but I can't get him to like ground turkey for HBs and such--somehow it doesn't absorb other flavoring like chicken.

Of course, soon it will be Venison season in Wi! I never did like it tho, we had to give away so many sausage rolls one Christmas.

Thank you for the responses. I did not know about Jenni-O full turkeys. That sounds good.
I will see if I can find the customer service info ...Thank you! I had not thought of that! I am glad to know they are not out of business. That is very good news!

(Tyson... booo booo! They were very bad here to Union workers... boo !!!! )

A grocery manager once said that to me about a major line of groceries that that particular chain carried. The line was thriving -- the store had just stopped carrying certain items.

Some people speak without checking the facts, it's as simple as that.

Our regular grocery store doesn't carry Jenni-O, either--but thanks to the Jenni-O website, I discovered that the nearby SuperTarget does. Handy-dandy, that Internet thing! :D

I think that's a class in grocery store manager's school. I've had that said to me many times when not true. I think it's just an easy way to get a customer off his/her back.

My company hired a new manager to manage the employee store, who used to be a grocery store manager. The first time I asked him when he'd get an item back in stock, he told me the company discontinued it. My friend and I burst out laughing because we worked with that product and knew it hadn't been discontinued!

I finally sent off a letter to the company today to see what their response is about their products in our area. Thanks so much for the suggestion to do that.
I will post what response I receive.

I am glad a few other people here on PR now know about their great products.....
