Subject: Incredible source for exquisite fabric Date: 9/11/12 8:03 PM

This is THE place for anyone who is looking for fine fabrics. In all my years of sewing (50+) I have never seen anything like the amount of exquisite fabric that is to be found here.

My husband and I both sew and we have been searching for a long time for quality cottons for shirts and blouses. We had given up trying to find it locally and were searching on the internet when by chance we found Sultanís right here in Toronto! We will never need to look anywhere else. There is so much choice you know youíve found the ultimate source for fine fabric.

Thereís an article in "make something" by Karyn from the Workroom in Parkdale that goes into much more detail about some of the other fabrics that are available.

And the good news is that if youíre looking for the quality fabric and donít live near Toronto they have a great website to order from : )

Sultan Moosa is the owner who passionately showed us his exquisite materials. We went in to buy two lengths of fabric and came out with six. An incredible experience! Canít wait to go back : )

Yes!!

I'd forgotten about them. They used to show at the creative festival. I still have a length of silk-cashmere for skirting in my stash. I take it out, think about cutting it and then put it back.

I've met Sultan several times at shows we both attended. He's a great guy and his fabric really is nothing short of AMAZING. I couldn't resist it either but so far I've only petted my stash of it looking for the perfect pattern. 2013 will be the year, the year long sew along will be the perfect opportunity to turn into a divine garment. :)

The prices seem very reasonable too! Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
