DiscountEmboriderySupply.com was recommended by EmbLibrary.com in a blog posting discussing stabilizers. I found one review for the site on PR and the person gave it a good review on the purchase of machine needles.

They also mentioned the Thread Club and so I decided to check it out. It looks like a good way to quickly build a supply of various threads. Has anyone participated in this program? If so, what did you think? Also, if you have, how difficult was it to stop? (Sometimes getting a subscription to stop can be difficult since the company doesn't like to lose recurring revenue such as a subscription.)

Here are the details:

Buy only as needed or you will end up with a storage tote full of thread that you will never use.

Good point and I completely agree.

I was thinking about the thread club on the way in to work this morning and I was thinking IF I join, it'll be when I finish the current lot of thread of I have now, and if I need a different colour, buy as needed.

So, I think this might be a good for someone who embroiders A LOT and maybe even as a small home hobby business, but not for the casual embroiderer, which is where I am right now.

Not sure about the thread, but they definitely have the best price on needles if you buy in bulk (100 at a time). I especially like the no tax/shipping costs as well. I will be going to them first as my supplies start to run out.
