Difference between German Burda and US Burda magazines

I received my US version so I decided to compare the two. Both issues contain the same patterns, but there are some differences in the rest of the magazine. I thought they probably got it in error. I flicked through it quickly but didn't notice all that extra content. Maybe some time in the future I will buy it and try to brush up my German! I think it's an English language version for all English speaking countries. Nice comparison, thank you for this video. I think every language version has a different editor. I buy the French version and it has a few of the extra articles from the German version but not everything. But it doesn't even have the All At Glance pictures.

The difference was that Burda International had different patterns from the regular Burda World of Fashion magazine, and the main part of the magazine was a lot like Vogue. Gosh, I really liked BI, but of course they discontinued it as soon as I found it out LOL

You're right, I should have referred to it as an English language version. I guess I assumed, wrongly, that it's a US version since it's the one we get as subscribers in the US. And now that I look at it, it shows a price in British pounds on the cover, so it's the same issue distributed there and other places where English is spoken or that version is requested. Two things: 1. Sometimes the German magazines (Burday Easy Fashion for certain), show a couple styles and provide a code for you to download and print the pattern at the Burda website. 2. You can subscribe to the German version also at GLP. Some years I get the German, some years the English. I prefer the German edition for the separate booklet and the articles and recipes, but if I decide to sell them, I've found limited interest on PR for them - even though everyone says they can't make heads or tails out of the English instructions, anyway :-) ------ susi

I never understand what part they are referring to and I'm fluent in German.
