My linen cupboard (from Ikea) has been overtaken by my stash, and that's okay by me (I'll just leave the sheets and towels in the hamper until I need them )
But, it was a mess! And frustrating when I needed a scrap of that lining I got for that dress last year sometime. . .
So, lots of Amazon box lids later, I am organized! If I had more time (and a higher end box cutter), I might also organize by knits and wovens and then by color. But until then, here are some pics!

I still have some odd items squished in the corners but I feel like I could "shop" my own stash now!

Super nice job you did! And that little helper is too adorable peeking out at you! I bet he would just love to climb around in all that fabric!

Cute kid!
I have gradually transitioned from Fabric in Bins to Fabric in Bags to Fabric on Bolts. I would put everything on bolts but I've got limited shelf space. It definitely makes it easier to see what you've got.

Wow-what a difference! I'm sure it took a while, especially if your helper was there the whole time (LOL), but you'll enjoy this organization every time you "shop" your stash for a piece of fabric. Way to go!

That's what I need..........a little helper. Mine are all grown up and no longer fit in the cabinets.

Fabric is the easy part of organizing.

Finding all those seam rippers and scissors that keep disappearing is the real test of organization!

I have yet to pass this test for more than 24 hours.

ETA: where is the Spellcheck! Lost that too.
