Ellisimo continuous border hoop upgrade III -how much does it really buy you? Ellisimo continuous embroidery hoop upgrade III

As I understand it, the upgrade also includes something like 10 or maybe more new border embroidery designs to really polish off that edge look. But could anyone tell me if there is really any more to it than the better suited hoop and those extra designs. Does the software upgrade also come with some better recognition features with the camera or software that somehow make long border embroider easier and more precise. Or is it basically just the same thing we do with our snowmen and an easier way to hoop and rehoop it, plus those bonus border designs... Thanks everyone, BadGirlViolet

The shop owner & John Deer explained the software upgrade for the continuous hoop thingie... I understand that by using two of the "sewmen" (snowmans) ... the software now will be able to determine an exact continuation based upon the sewmen. The upgrade, including hoop, is selling for $449 with delivery expected next month (IIRC). I saw the same hoop that is used on the 10 needle... and it is very nice in the way that it clamps down. It's definitely on my list if I go through with buying the Ellisimo. ------ nightowlsally.com On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
