Date: 9/21/12 1:32 PM This is sure interesting. How would you join the blocks together that you have already shrunk? Would you make the entire quilt and then use the iron to shrink it?
I also wonder what will happen when it goes through the laundry. Will it shrink even more or how will the dryer affect the quilt? ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Date: 9/21/12 1:51 PM Good questions! I like to iron my stuff to death so maybe I shouldn't try this or I might end up with a teeny tiny quilt block! ------ ~Diana~

Date: 9/21/12 2:41 PM You start with a 10 inch block and end up with a 3 inch one after it goes through the laundry. From lap size to small wall hanging. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Date: 9/21/12 2:59 PM Annie (of "By Annie" website/patterns/etc.) is the "developer" of Texture Magic -- at the very least, she promotes it for Superior Threads and has published a number of patterns that use this technique.
She has LOTS of tutorial videos posted on her web site about how to use this product.
She also developed By Annie's Soft and Stable, which I've just begun to experiment with in my bag making. This is a really fun product, very easy to use in bags and purses (no fusing!). Soft and Stable Videos.

Date: 9/21/12 3:46 PM It does look like fun. I am only teasing. I do wonder though if it will shrink the the laundry or is all the shrinking done by the time it is quilted. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

I dont think I like the way the projects look -- I worked really hard to learn how to make flat projects -- I dont feel like I want to buy tools that will help me make ripply ones --
