Ok, just learned about this (I need to hang out on BS.com more, clearly) and today's freebie is the Shari dress pattern or #7951:

I don't know how I missed it but they show up on the home page of the US site.
NOTE: You do need to be a registered member to download patterns but it's free too!

Date: 9/21/12 8:56 PM Thank you!!!!!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to share this link, but DH just found this free wrap dress pattern on Burda. Lots of people have put up finished projects and they look great!
Hope wrap dress (free pattern)
It's a size 34 but a woman shared a link from Threads describing how to grade it to different sizes. She made a 44 and she looks fabulous!

well *that* was awkward! I didn't mean to cut off her head! She's in the finished projects and she's as pretty as her dress! -- Edited on 9/21/12 8:58 PM -- ------ Mary

Date: 9/30/12 2:48 AM Oh thanks for that. It was too much wishful thinking that they'd put that jacket up for free. I don't have that much use for a waist coat. ------ BrownPaperPattern.blogspot.com |

Date: 10/5/12 10:10 AM Quote: marymary86 DH just found this free wrap dress pattern on Burda. Great link, MM86, but I am not sure this is a Burda pattern per se.
I followed the links and the original designer did not say she used a Burda block to draft this. Just a heads up to those interested.------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com

Date: 10/5/12 6:51 PM Mine wouldn't download either. I got a notice that Adobe had crashed...a not uncommon notice with my Firefox. I attempted to open IE, which usually works and it's not opening. If you have Firefox, you might try another browser. ------ 2009-113.25 yds
