Date: 9/22/12 12:20 PM I've just started paying attention to this pattern maker. I have a few of her patterns on my wish list, including a cardigan for this fall. I am foolishly hoping that one of the other patterns I want will be the freebie in October (the cargo pants or the hoodie).
Anyone out there with long term memory of what the freebies have been in the past? I am sure it's foolish to think the pants will be the give away in October if it was just offered in August!
Thanks,

Date: 9/22/12 12:22 PM I think each month they give away one of that month's new patterns, if I recall correctly. ------ http://sewingnovice.blogspot.co.uk/

Date: 9/22/12 2:33 PM Thanks! I just scrolled through a year of freebies. A different cardi was featured last February but not the one I am eyeing. Hopefully one of the three I'm longing for- cardi, hoodie, cargo pants-- will be featured in October!

Don't hold your breath as I think it's highly unlikely. I've been sewing with Style Arc since 2010 and so far every month the freebie has been a totally new pattern.------ Belinda. Melbourne, Australia

Date: 9/23/12 6:06 AM Thanks for drawing attention to this company. Is the shipping fee to the USA cost prohibitive? I've never ordered from there. Jeanie ------ wife, mom, nurse, grandmother, sewing/embroidery hobby from SC with a BL Ellisimo, new BL Enterprise, Bernina 180 & 1090. |

Date: 9/23/12 8:08 AM That might depend on what you call "prohibitive"! I ordered 2 patterns, got the "Ann T Top" free and the cost of shipping was about equal to the cost of the 2 patterns I bought. A little under $50 for 3 patterns + shipping but I LOVE those patterns! So for me, I'll very selectively order again! |
