It was great going to a family wedding in Atlanta and golfing in Myrtle Beach but I so missed my girls (my machines). So I spent hours doing laundry and cooking a good meal - tired of eating out! Then last night I finally made it to the sewing room. I spent the evening laying out a twin quilt that has 54 blocks. It is the Yellow Brick Road pattern and took some time to get it just right and pleasing to the eye; now I am ready to start sewing the blocks together. My sewing room is such a place of solitude and solace for me and I am pretty attached to my girls; I am sure they missed me too!! I can't wait to fire them up and start sewing my rows together. ------ Elna Excellence 740, Pfaff Quilt expression 4.0, Janome 300E, Brother 8500D, Janome 900CPX CoverPro, Brother 5234 Project Runway Serger, Singer Treadle

Date: 9/23/12 12:42 PM Ha I do no think my hubby would like me taking my machine with me. He is, however, very good about taking me around to quilt shops when we are out of town. Yes I will post a pic of the quilt when done. It is a christmas gift for my son (40 years old) done with Charlie Brown Christmas fabric. He adores Charlie Brown Christmas so he will be thrilled. I hope to FMQ it in time for the Holidays. ------ Elna Excellence 740, Pfaff Quilt expression 4.0, Janome 300E, Brother 8500D, Janome 900CPX CoverPro, Brother 5234 Project Runway Serger, Singer Treadle
