I have been working on my cutting skills .. and, decided I was ready to try to make a pattern. I like geometric quilts that make illusions so, I decided to try out this irish chain.
its easy -- but, sorta has a big bang for the buck -
Im not finished with it -- and dont know where Ill go next -- maybe a strripe of the darker blocks around the whole thing to act as a frame.. IDk yet.
Anyhow, Its a easy pattern -- anyone got other irish chain quilt pics to post? ------ Drag queen quilter! |

Date: 9/26/12 8:11 AM I used all types of novelty fabrics -- so there are bunnies, donkys, chairs, pin up girls, glasses, rain boots, sheep, and bird houses ... in there hidden in the fabrics.
Ill figure a way to get a few pics up onto flickr. 8 am is very early for me and Im lucky my fingers are evenw willing to type.

Most of the fun fabrics came in the stash of fabrics I got from my aunt a few weeks back. Ive never really sewn with quilting cotton -- it sure is easy to sew with new, flat fabrics that are not that streatchy! ------ Drag queen quilter! |
