Why does that machine have a long leather belt that looks like it goes down to a treadle??? Is it an electric that's been converted to treadle?

Oh, yes, the kitteh is completely adorable. I can't forget that.

Aawwww reminds me of when my old girl was a kitten, and she thought she would try to grab the needle as it went up and down! I hated to be mean, but had to nip that quick. So adorable, thanks for sharing.
