Looking for some help with my hardware and software

Please forgive me as I am an absoulute beginer here looking for some tutorials for use with my machines.
I recdently purchased a flip pal and floriani software and I am trying to use together to create patterns for my ellisimo machine. I know they recomend photostich for creating patterns for the flip pal, but I would like to avoid purchasing any more software. Any links to tutorials or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My profficency with computers is not that great but I am trying to learn however I am experienced with sewing.
