Looking for some help with my hardware and software New to computers, Not new to sewing

I recdently purchased a flip pal and floriani software and I am trying to use together to create patterns for my ellisimo machine. I know they recomend photostich for creating patterns for the flip pal, but I would like to avoid purchasing any more software. Any links to tutorials or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My profficency with computers is not that great but I am trying to learn however I am experienced with sewing.

We may be able to guide you in the right direction if we knew which software program you have.
