Date: 10/2/12 12:57 PM Have HotPatterns Artful Dodger Prudence Blouse which suggests double georgette, crepe de chine, handkerchief linen, charmeuse, lightweight crepe or rayon, but I've only worked with cotton and wool and am nervous about choosing a fabric that might be beyond my skill level. Suggestions? |

Date: 10/2/12 4:15 PM Handkerchief linen and crepe de chine sound to me like the two easiest to work with option on that list. ------ I am going for a level of perfection that is only mine... Most of the pleasure is in getting that last little piece perfect...Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just keep showing up and doing the work.

2 members like this. Date: 10/2/12 6:32 PM Crepe would be easier than the crepe de chine...not as slippery. My suggestions would be the linen, crepe, or the rayon. You could go check them out at a store. |

Date: 10/3/12 2:53 PM Thanks for the input. I usually buy fabric online, but agree that I need to see and feel the fabric before I can make my decision. |
