I've recently ventured into sewing knits by trying to get a good tnt put of Jalie basic t-shirt pattern. My first attempt was as instructed, based on my full bust, a straight-from-the-envelope size S. I didn't expect much, because I wear a 30-DDD bra.
It was BY FAR the best first draft I've ever made! Not perfect, but made me want to keep perfecting it. The bust was only a bit snug, but the shoulders seem to be too wide (vertical wrinkles at sleeve seam). The side seams are in about the right spot.
For my next try, I cut size R for the back piece, and the front was size R at the shoulders and T below the armscye. Better, but not perfect.
The shoulders still seem a bit wide, while the bust is still a bit snug. I'm wondering if I should size-morph the back as well as the front, or stick with a smaller back piece and larger front piece? I've looked at the T-shirts I own, and generally the back is the sameish width as the front - but obviously, MY front is MUCH bigger than my back (at the bust).
My options seem to be:
Back-shoulders Q, back-torso T
Front-shoulders Q, front-torso T
Back-shoulders Q, back torso R
Front-shoulders Q, front torso U

The shoulder on my Jalie are a bit long, too. I solved the problem much faster than you've tried. I took my paper and pinched out about 1/2" and taped it down. The rest of the pattern fit really well and I didn't have to mess with any of it. It's a knit so the pretend dart is fine - I just mash out the bubble on the paper.
Eh, worked for me.
