Hi, I bought a used 1500D. When I was looking thur the utility page I saw service and total count. What does that mean? Service is 4,670 and total 1,670,800. Thanks

If I am not mistaken, total is the amount of stitches sewn in the machine's lifetime. 4670 is what has been sewn since a service.

I sat down and finally figured it out. the service count is use to count the amount of stitches in your project and adds them to your total count like an odometer. The service count is used by the technician to see how many stitches are made between servicing. The technician zeros out the service count after servicing and start over again. This only applies to embroidering not just generalize sewing. Mystery Is now solved. These little things fascinate me.
