YAAAAY, I finished my first project, a pair of pyjama shorts that I can also wear to the gym

I made them out an airplane blanket that I got from "Value Village" or as a friend likes to call it "Boutique VV"

Good for you! I feel the same way each time I finish something that's actually wearable - that good feeling doesn't go away - it's just the beginning. Now where is that thumbs-up icon when you need it! lol

Good for you! The sky is now the limit.

Not to take away from your success, but may I share the story of my first shorty PJs.

This took place way back when the female population did not wear shorts, slacks or jeans in public. I also was about 12 + years old and occasionally, in my haste to get dressed would forget to take off my shorties and wear them under my skirt. What a surprise that was when I made my first trip to the restroom!

And then there was the Home Ec fashion show during the monthly PTA meeting when the females in the audience practically had a heart attack when I walked out on stage in my shorty PJs.

For Pete's sake.....I was just a kid.

They had no idea of what was to come!

Thank You all for your congratulatory messages. It does make me feel very happy about my simple PJ shorts.

PattiAnnJ you story is lovely. I guess at that time you would have been an innovative fashionista.

Wonderful feeling! So happy for you. I recall my first skirt even now.
PattiAnnJ- I recall those days! I was so embarrassed because I had to sneak into the bathroom and hide my wool pants that I walked to school in under my dresses in the winter. I think I may have been around 12 before it was appropriate for girls to wear shorts to play in. Our dresses went from Church quality to School quality to Play or Charity quality. :)

We did the same recycle process unless the clothing could be handed down to a sibling. However, my brothers didn't care for the later of the two options!
