Date: 10/17/12 12:46 PM I am looking to invest in my first industrial serger/overlock machine but not sure where to start. I have been using a Janome 1204d for 4 years and have completely killed it. I have also gone through 3 other sergers so I need something heavy duty. Any suggestions or reviews? |

Date: 10/20/12 6:04 PM I use one at work, and find them to be better than home machines like Lena Merrin. Two drawback are that it needs a table and that needs space. The other thing is that it does the one thing and no others such as rolled hem or coverstitch. that said it is very rare I need those and the durability is a maybe what you need. I use a Brother but we also have a Juki both are equally useful. ------ http://silkmothsewing.blogspot.com/ |
