I bought some poly Peau de soie for a tinkerbell costume but now I have some buyers remorse. I've never worked with it before and I'm concerned it may be difficult to work with. frankly, after the velveteen coat disaster and with 4 Haloween costumes to sew, I am in no mood for another temperamental fabric. I just got some swatches of really beautiful silk/cotton sateen in the mail today that are a lovely shade of emerald. I've worked with this fabric before from this source and it is wonderful. The price of the silk/cotton is only slightly higher than the Peau. any thoughts?
