Well, seems one item I was going to sell was not worth as much as I thought and the other item was worth much more than I thought. After agreeing to consign the higher price item, I mentioned to the owner that I was selling it to get a new sewing machine for a side business and he mentioned that he had a machine in his office. I peered around the corner and saw a black case and said "that's not a Featherweight is it?" Yep. He said he'd take the lesser valued item as a trade, we shook, and it was a deal.
The case is a little beat but the machine is in really good shape, sews well and we're getting to know each other. It's so stinkin' cute! I feel like it was meant to be. Squeeeee!!!!
(of course hubby rolled his eyes when I showed him my trade, but I figured you ladies would understand why I'm giddier than a little girl at Christmas!!!)

Sorry, probably should have posted in the Featherweight Fanatics forum, just very excited! -- Edited on 10/20/12 7:28 PM -- ------ Bernina 330
