In my "what are you stalking" thread, I mentioned I needed to sell some stuff (jewelry) to raise funds to get a Sailrite. Well, seems one item I was going to sell was not worth as much as I thought and the other item was worth much more than I thought. After agreeing to consign the higher price item, I mentioned to the owner that I was selling it to get a new sewing machine for a side business and he mentioned that he had a machine in his office. I peered around the corner and saw a black case and said "that's not a Featherweight is it?" Yep. He said he'd take the lesser valued item as a trade, we shook, and it was a deal.

The case is a little beat but the machine is in really good shape, sews well and we're getting to know each other. It's so stinkin' cute! I feel like it was meant to be. Squeeeee!!!!

(of course hubby rolled his eyes when I showed him my trade, but I figured you ladies would understand why I'm giddier than a little girl at Christmas!!!)

Sorry, probably should have posted in the Featherweight Fanatics forum, just very excited!

Pretty. If you right click on your broken link and select view image, it comes up.

I'm certainly no lady, but I understand as well! Nice score!
