Date: 10/21/12 0:28 AM Hi All,
Does anyone have this book by Lorna Knight?
Dressmaking for Real Women: How to Adapt Your Store-bought Patterns to Flatter the Curves You Want to Keep and Drape the Ones You Don't
Some of the websites that sell it say that it's a book for full and curvy figures. I am wondering if it would be a useful book for someone who is more H-shaped and is petite, and not necessarily full-figured?
Many thanks! ------ http://howsew.blogspot.com/ |

Date: 10/21/12 1:59 AM I haven't seen this book (and Amazon doesn't have a sneak peek), but it sounds to me like you'd be better off with Fit for Real People, since it works to find flattering fit for pretty much all body types, not just curvy and/or plus-sized (which you're not!). -- Edited on 10/21/12 1:59 AM -- |

Date: 10/23/12 4:26 PM Thanks, Courtney! I am more of an H, petite. I was actually wondering if that book "Dressmaking for Real Women" had advice for me as well or whether its focus is only on full and curvy figures. But thanks anyway! :) ------ http://howsew.blogspot.com/ |
