Date: 10/22/12 9:15 AM Went to Joann's yesterday, I had a 30% off super saver card, which meant it was for my entire purchase, even sale merchandise.
So I came home with a new sewing table (the folding hobby one), a Dritz My Double Deluxe dress form, Gingher rotary cutter, Gingher pinking shears, an ironing pad, some fabric that was on sale and a Rowenta iron.
The iron was the only thing that was not on sale and that I could not use the coupon for (I almost put it back when I discovered that but my husband said No, you have to have it! lol, gotta love that )
I love everything I got except for the pinking shears, they are going back. They are just too stiff and after reading around here, it seems like lots of people have had that problem.
I feel like my sewing space is pretty much complete for the must haves on my list now. Of course, there is always the "want but don't need" list to work on! The new table and dressform are going to make a huge difference. It took about half hour to assemble the table and I think I messed around with the dressform for almost an hour and she is now pretty much an exact replica of me.
I am happy knowing I got stuff for way less than I could have gotten it online, which is really pretty rare. I love it when Joann's has the super saver cards! ------ My Singer crew:
