Morse 2400 zig-zag or Dressmaker 2400

Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 10/22/12 12:20 PM My cousin gave me my Aunt's Morse 2400 zig-zag machine. She also gave me the owner's manual. Sadly, the manual was moldy from time spent in her attic. I tried separating the pages only to have them fall apart in my had. I kept the remenants, but cannot use it at all. I've been looking all over the internet trying to find a replacement copy with no luck. Finally, I searched model 2400 sewing machine and it brought me to a picture of a dressmaker 2400. The picture looks identical except for the name plate. Does anyone know if the two machines could possibly be the same. I'm afraid to try using the cams because I don't know how to install them. My cousin entrusted me with something from her mother. I don't want to ruin it. Thanks for any help you can give me.
