Date: 10/22/12 11:29 PM So I'm fairly new to the idea of embroidery, beading, appliques, that sort of stuff. When I have more time in the future it is something that I'd like to get into, primarily beading. I happened upon this youtube clip and I'm entranced by this device. The poster claims you can stick it on any old machine, but what is it? I was under the impression you had to buy specialty machines in order to do this kind of work. Is this person being honest?

I'd also like to know from the more experienced members whether you suggest a tambour needle over a machine?
Thanks in advance! |

A quicky way of applying sequins, is to use strung sequins, you can outline or fill in with them, and use a zigzag machine to stitch them on. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Date: 11/7/12 11:23 AM Thank you! Do you know if there are any online tutorials showing how to use strung sequins? I haven't had much luck, most of the videos I find are hand sewn craft sequins. |
