Date: 10/23/12 1:45 PM Has anyone seen this yet in person at a dealer? I am guessing it is an upgrade from the 2212?- which has good reviews here on PR.

Yes, I wondered about that, too. At Sew Vac Direct they don't have the price up yet but say to call for pricing. Their 2212 sells for $149...so...$199? Or something a little over $200? |

Yes, and it has auto thread tension control, and a needle threader. (Though I don't use needle threaders...but I like the auto tension.)
