I am really looking forward to this class as I like her book,

ETA: Just read her blog and am even more excited about this class. I do hope she addresses sewists who must fit themselves. I think that is the big disadvantage we have. It is the rare home sewist who has a fitting buddy always available. -- Edited on 10/24/12 6:59 AM -- |

Barbara's Blog
This blog is about size acceptance, which begins in the sewing room!
I'm excited about the class, too! The signup page is not up yet but should be by the launch date of 10/30, and I can tell that they're working on it!

Date: 10/24/12 12:30 PM I get that Craftsy is a website but these on line courses...
Are they work at your own pace? Or is like a web class where you all sign in and take the class together over the internet?
Can someone explain? I am sort of "techno-challenged.

Craftsy classes are super easy to use. You get lifetime access to the video lessons, work at your own pace, and can replay lessons as often as you like. You download class materials to have on hand, but virtually all of the information is contained in the videos. While viewing the lessons, you can take video notes!
You can post questions for the instructor, and my experience is that they answer within a day or two. You also get the benefit of reading the questions that other students have asked and the answers. You can upload photos of your project and view others' photos.
Believe me, if I can do Craftsy classes, anybody can! -- Edited on 10/24/12 1:21 PM -- ------ A balanced diet is a cupcake in each hand. |

I hope they are available in Canada also. |
