Went and saw the lab puppies for the first time this past Sunday at the breeder. They were born October 9th...four girls and two boys. One of the females will be ours...Sophie will get to come home the first weekend in December. They were all sleeping except one who was just raising hell the whole time we were there. Can't wait to bring her home! |

Date: 10/24/12 7:23 PM They are really cute, and Sophie is a great name. We like dogs, we are just not prepared to do the work involved with them. Can I come visit? ------ Barb |

Date: 10/24/12 9:31 PM Awww, cute!!!!!
I have a lab and love her....even if she is wacky some of the time. We have two dogs, and the lab is my little shadow. She's the one who when I'm sick and coughing, will lay on me if I have a coughing fit. I'm never quite sure if she wants to make me feel better, or stop the bed from shaking.
And nothing, and I mean NOTHING comes between her and a tennis ball. |

Date: 10/24/12 11:55 PM I am jealous! It's been almost 2 years since we lost our big yellow boy. DH does not want another one so I have to be content with the cats. |

Date: 10/25/12 10:24 AM It was three years ago this past May when I had to put Aggie to sleep. She was a yellow lab and was 14 years old. It took me that long to be able to get another dog but I am really looking forward to having another lab. I miss walking a dog and my husband travels so for someone to keep me company at night. |

Date: 10/25/12 10:32 AM It is never easy saying good-bye but it is so good that you are able to have another dog. Have fun in your new and I am sure, wild adventure. ------ Formerly The Canadian |
