fabulous, and very clever.

and the sewing connection is that the costumes are gorgeous, but the strapless black & white gown is a feat of engineering

sorry about the mess in the description, I tried to shorten it & made it infinitely worse

Thanks for posting this. I especially love the tap pants and two-toned oxfords in one scene!

You will love this!

I'm too young for Rita but I am very aware of who she is.

That being said the video is awesome !

She is so light on her feet my goodness..I never noticed how light on her feet she relly was..like she's dancing on air.

I forwarded it to mny people..LOL

Awesome video ,,Thanks for posting it !

She is so beautiful to watch, isn't she? Legs to die for. BTW, in the 'rehearsal' sequences, you can certainly see where the phrase 'tap pants' got its start.

But in the fitting and alterations business, you know how many of us have to alter patterns for broad shoulders, narrow shoulders, prominent shoulder blades, sway back, and so on? Take a look at this clip, starting at 1:23, and tell me if you see any figure flaws in Ginger Rogers' back! I suspect she may have had the most perfect back in existence.
