This pattern looks great, but wonder is there a way to make the cowl slightly smaller (with less drape) as I am petite and the fabric is overwhelming on me. With this pattern, I plan on using a thin knit from Marcy Tilton.

I've read all of the reviews to include Jan's and wonder if I change dimensions if it would help, but don't kow how. Thank you.

I've made this out of two different fabrics. One was a very drapey rayon knit and the other was a more stable mystery knit. I definately prefer the more stable knit one. The rayon one doesn't lay as nicely plus it makes the entire neckline look almost too low because of the way the weight pulls it down.

Anyway, what I would do is to reduce the outside circumference of the cowl pieces maybe 2". You could always sew it and baste it on to see if it's enough. HTH

Debbie
