Can some please tell me if this pattern ( simplicity 2508) is a shoulder princess seam or an armsycle seam? I know it seems dumb but I don't know how to make adjustments without this knowledge. It looks to me like a princess armsyce seam but I really don't know.
Winter is coming and I would really like to have this coat done by then.
Any thoughts would help. Thank you for your time. |

It's a cute pattern. |

Date: 11/4/12 10:15 AM It's an armscye seam, but it's got raglan sleeves. So the adjustment will be different than a "normal" armscye. OTOH, I found it super-easy on my summer formal dress, because there was a seam running down the outside of the sleeve, and I could just adjust that.
On a totally unrelated note: "winter is coming" made me cackle. |
