I am very excited to have purchased one year of Anita Goodesign Diamond Club! My first designs will arrive at the beginning of December. So exciting!

I've never bought any of these designs, but my dealer is now offering them. I'll have to check them out.

I love the Anita Goodesign collections! The designs are so much nicer than the photography on their packaging.

Wow, that is an understatement. I am not quite sure what it is with their photography but it really does not even begin to approach the beauty of some of their designs.

Agreed! I did download the catalog app on my iPad -- the resolution on the iPad does make the designs look better when I open up the pdf of each packet.

Why are these designs so expensive?

Yeah, I could have gotten a years free membership (they said worth $1,000) if I'd have purchased a Janome 7700 from Allbrands. I didn't believe it could be worth $1,000, but now after seeing the prices, I see they were right. Not sure which club it was, but yeah, I'd have to do a LOT more embroidery than I do for it to be worth it. I know, I'd have them forever - but I just can't spend that right now.
They are very nice designs though!

I agree, the designs are expensive compared to some others becausethe designs are individually digitized rather than auto-punch. Auto-punch designs can be digitized in far less time and cost less.

If you are interested, you can see how the latest Art Quilt collection was designed and digitized, you can view the videos that Anita Goodesign created to show the process:

I agree the designs are expensive. But I have stitched a lot of AnitaGoodesign designs and they have all been flawless. No glitches anywhere that I have encountered which is worth a lot to me. The designs I have used are basically the project oriented ones and they really are beautiful, although a lot of work for sure!
