Date: 11/7/12 1:27 PM I want to pair fingerless gloves with one size fits all super stretchy gloves to keep some little (and big) hands warm on Staten Island.
The school that I am sewing for has kids from the age of three up through eighth grade. Anybody have kids handy to take some quick measurements that I can use for fingerless gloves?
The age of the child along with these measurements would help tremendously:
Upper circumference measurement at elbow crease, a bit to the bottom side of the elbow.
Wrist circumference.
Snug circumference around the hand at the knuckle line, fingers straight and include the thumb in the measurement.
Elbow crease to wrist measurement, and if you don't mind one more,
Elbow crease to knuckle measurement.
All assistance appreciated.
If you know of any groups that would benefit from having us bust into our stashes, I invite you to list them in the Stashbuster thread in the Fabric section of the message board.
Thank you so much.
