Convert double-breasted jacket to single? I like Colette's Anise but...

Is there a way to alter the pattern front to be single-breasted? I like the details and cut of the pattern, and I find Colette patterns to be well drafted, so I'd like to try this pattern....just not the double-breasted detail. ------ A balanced diet is a cupcake in each hand.

Date: 11/7/12 11:20 PM In general, the center front is marked on a double-breasted pattern (I haven't sewn with Colette since it's not drafted for my body type, so i can't say for sure). Check out a single-breasted coat pattern or a coat in your closet to determine how much overlap you prefer at CF. Then mark your new cutting line your preferred distance from CF, adding seam allowance. Do the same for the facing.
