Lynn, would you believe the fabric shown on this pattern is exactly the color I am looking for? Pattern looks great and will order it today. Will try to find that fabric store on the internet and investigate further.

Have followed your leads and ordered some of fabrics that you suggested.....hope color looks as good in person as on the screen.

Thank you

The V1141 is just the nicest little knit top! You may want to lengthen it though, as it sits right at waist level. The shoulder detail is lovely, and can be either the box pleat per the instructions, or just gathered. I've done both ways.

Gorgeous Fabrics Deep Red

Hard to tell by the photos if they're dark enough, but swatches can be ordered.

If it's anything like the last OOP Vogue sale, they'll let you buy a bunch of patterns, then tell you a week later that none of the ones you REALLY wanted are actually in stock, but that one you added in that you only kinda wanted, you can still have that one, but pay the full shipping price. Grrrrrr.

Yes, yes I am still bitter!

Yep it is, except for finishing differences (one is turn & stitch, the other is with bindings).

I love this top pattern soooo much, I have both patterns just in case...!

Squirrelypoo, that would be especially painful with overseas shipping.

I'm concerned about what it says about my taste that most of what I wanted from the last OOP sale was available.
