Date: 11/8/12 10:30 AM I joined a year ago when I was really getting into learning my embroidery software. I found it to be labor intensive when trying to navigate around to look for other posts that delt with the types of steps I was learning. I quit that day and I just recently went and looked on it again today. Well, I just spent another 40 min and accomplished nothing. When I look at the posts you have pages and pages of posts nothing put in groups like this site. Why? I type in a key word and get pages of posts and they can be a response to a previous post or another posters question. Very confusing, What is the easy way to navigate on that site?
I guess I got spoiled using this site for so long before I joined there. -- Edited on 11/8/12 10:32 AM -- |

The Yahoo groups are an email based discussion board, not a forum or message board. They follow a similar format to the old usenet groups. There is limited coding, no images, less space taken up on the server. Yahoo hosts and archives the groups and facilitates the email forwarding but they don't run the individual groups.
You will get used to the format and function if you hang around. ------ chris

Date: 11/9/12 9:10 AM Someday when I have more time I guess I'll have to go back look again. Might just be easier to buy a tutorial. |
