Date: 11/12/12 9:37 AM would like some of that fabric too but they only have three colors for that price. Maybe later. ------ Galatians 5:22-23 The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these |

Date: 11/12/12 11:56 AM I bought some of it a while back and the piece I got turned out to be horribly and incorrectably off grain once it was washed and dried.
They did give me a refund. |

Date: 11/12/12 12:15 PM I got a piece in my mystery bundle a while back and mine was also off grain. It's also very static-y and quite thin. |

Date: 11/12/12 12:25 PM in my experience, fabric selling at $1.99/ yard has the quality of $1.99/ yard fabric.
Which may be adequate for one's purpose. ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! And Rupert (Pfaff 2023), Baby (BL Enlighten), Victor (BLCS), Ash (Bernina 350SE), Pal (Bernina 530), Kee (Bernina 750) and the Featherteen Flock!
Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you. |

Date: 11/12/12 1:04 PM I haven't done anything with mine, but I do have a piece of the poly/linen and the rayon/linen.
It's not bad for $2 per yard. The poly blend does seem to be more of a poly knit with random bits of rayon thread chucked into the thread every so often than a blend.
It is really thin. |

Date: 11/12/12 1:52 PM I got some nice linen blend at Hancock's in the spring, washed wonderfully and a good price, but now I see just the all-linen
there. You might check their Bargain racks which get in a little
of everything. I have better luck with them than JA's Redlines,
which are mostly useless and not markdowns. |

Date: 11/17/12 8:54 AM It isn't 1.99, but the BEA4618 Striped Jersey Knit Cream, Limeade, Orange at FM is a nice meaty knit with a very soft brushed side. Yum!
I had a piece of the linen knit, and it was thin and stuck to itself. This was ok for my non-garment purposes, but I don't think I'd really want to make a garment out of it. ------ mmmmm woooool |
