In case anyone is interested and who hasn't perused shopgoodwill they have some old SM's up for auction.

If you search they also have alot of notions up for auction also.

I'm getting wayyyyy past the saturation point as far as sewing machines go, so none of those listed particularly called out to me. But it was refreshing to see nice low start bids for all of them, proving the seller is more concerned with actually selling them, than attempting to convince an unwilling marketplace that they are all priceless antiques.

Is that Betsy Ross machine a toy model for kids? It looks tiny. Intriguing.

I too am glad that the starting prices are reasonable - it seems like most of the machines online are listed for ridiculous prices. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's a valuable antique, y'all.

I've bought most of my machines through ShopGoodwill...no problems at all with the descriptions..packaging is sometimes iffy, but after some cracked cases, they were all happy to pack to directions. Some do start out very low, but a few years ago, there were people looking for the featherweights and they were all going at about $350-400 each. I got mine for under $200 as they had it listed as "old sewing machine"! It does pay to search through all the sewing ads, instead of looking for a particular model!

I just happen to stumble on the site and figure I post it here
for anyone who's interested.

I don't buy old machines because I have no clue what's worth what

The Blue morse is pretty and that mini orange one whatever it is ..it's also cute.
