Help-Can't Get Tape Residue Off My Window PITA EFFECT OF SANDY

Usually a dab of Vaseline gets sticky stuff off, but not this time! Anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Do not get it near any painted surface as it will take the paint off.

Date: 11/12/12 9:06 PM I've used a product called "Goo Gone" for years on everything from sticker residue on book covers to plastics to metal....well just about anything non-porous. It's pretty cheap and a bottle lasts foreeeever. I have a 8 oz bottle (not the big spayer containers, not sure its the same thing). I noticed that Staples also sells a little 1 oz bottle which should still last quite awhile. You only need a few drops. edit - was just in Jo-Annes and while I was looking at the sewing dodads, I noticed they have Goo Gone 8 oz for four-something -- Edited on 11/12/12 11:01 PM --
