Does anyone have any good on-line resources for some really good quality flannel? My sister wants to make pj's for her grown daughter who is teaching in Japan. And she just happens to love skoobie doo! Joann's and Hancock's gets a thumbs down.

Have you searched "quilt-quality flannel"?
Several on PR have suggested checking quilt shops for good flannel. Of the 3 in my little town, one store had flannel--5 bolts of really good stuff. The sales person said they just don't get many requests for it. Maybe because we are in Texas?

Go to DenverFabrics.com or Fabric.com, flannelworld.com, Etsy and search for 'double napped flannel'. Not a lot of prints but it's thicker and heavier and really sews up beautifully. JoAnn's actually has a few colors available online.

Equilter.com has a fantastic selection of high quality flannels.

It is a huge site, but here is the LINK to all of their Flannels by category and color.

(no affiliation, just a happy customer)
