Date: 11/13/12 11:42 AM Last year I saw this gorgeous green leather Diane von Furstenberg jacket online:

It was totally unaffordable, so I decided to make it if I could ever find any green leather. Well, I was walking through my local discount fabric store and I spied across the room some of the most gorgeous faux green leather that you have ever seen. I literally had to go and touch it to believe that it was not real. I snapped up all 4 yards that was left. My plan is to make the dowloadable Burda Larissa jacket.
However, I am a little concerned about setting in the sleeves because this faux leather is not soft and pliable like real lambskin leather. It is sturdier but not quite as sturdy as vinyl. Do you think it would be too hard to set in the sleeves? |

You need to measure your armhole between the seams and measure your sleeve cap. Remove all ease from the sleeve cap so that it is one to one with the armhole. ------ www.nancyksews.blogspot.com |
