A friend gave me a wooden moose head and some large bath towels and asked me to make the body for the moose out of the towels as a hanging clothes hamper for her new grandson. She got it as a gift when her son was little and now wants it for his son. Somehow the body got lost and her father just redid the head. It is a flat moose head with antlers and pegs on the antlers. It hangs flat and there are two hooks to hang the body from, I think. Has anyone seen anything like this? End to end the antlers are 27" wide and the face is 9" long. I was thinking elastic top at the neck to pull out and put clothes in, maybe a casing with removable boning around the tummy to keep it "fat" when empty?? using small straps with velcro to go thru the hooks to attach body to head?? Maybe brown felt for the paws (do moose have paws? :
thanks in advance for any ideas you might have. She is in no rush but would like to have it finished by Christmas.

No ideas, but I beg you to post pics of whatever you come up with. "Moose baby hamper" isn't a phrase one comes across very often! I was thinking it would be a hammock for a baby moose, which everyone has of course.
