Date: 11/15/12 9:18 AM Hi all! I have a grandson who just loves my woven shirts--I use different materials for the yoke collar etc. Now I need a long sleeved pattern for him? I have issues with cuffs and have only done one such shirt so am looking for an easy cuff if there is such an animal? I have no issues with formal shirt tail rolled hemming. So I need a young boy's pattern that would go up to size 18? He is 9 or 10 years old. Thanks for any help. He often wears his shirts open over a t that I have embroidered. Thanks again for any help! Date: 11/15/12 11:20 AM I believe I would have put this in "Patterns and Notions" and then worded the title so it grabs attention to the subject: "Looking for boy's shirt pattern" might work. Sub title: with cuffed sleeves.
You may get the hits you need, nonetheless.

Date: 11/16/12 5:38 AM You might consider leaving cuffs off and turn under sleeve hem like a jacket style from shirt fabric since that kind of how he wears them.
Then you can perfect your cuff skills and add them.
Is he overweight? 9 yrs and size 18? Or do you want a pattern he will grow into over the years?
I got a wonderful set of plus size patterns for my now 10 yo GS.
