My good friend is from NZ and now lives here in NYC so I'm well aware of the term and it seems to vary and depends on who you are talking to. Wiki has many explanations and then list a whole slew of names for other countries....all nonsense.People equate having money with being better than other people which is all just crazy crap. As for me I don't even care and was just researching different types of flannel and was interested in UK flannel.
