I just made a pair of lace panties from 6" lace and I need **ahem** more back end coverage. Does anyone know where I can get 9" stretch lace, the kind that has decorative edges on both edges?

Thanks!

Sew Sassy has a few wider laces. I've never dealt with them, but the reviews here are positive. Sew Sassy scroll down for the wider laces...

I found some at Lace Heaven as well- again I've never ordered from them, but the lastest review here is a positive one.
Lace Heaven

Hope that helps!

Yes, they have it at Sew Sassy. I've ordered from them a couple of times and the service was good.

I have seen "them" as in clothing manufacturers get wide lace out of narrower for that kind of thing. And in made up lace panties sold in the stores. When I have seen that, what they did was to have two widths/pieces of narrower stretch lace instead, and they would just lay the finished edge of one piece over and on top of, the finished edge of the other, and zig zag it down, and then just treat it as one wider piece of lace instead. So if you can't find just exactly what you want, I think that would work too.

My sources are Sew Sassy and Fabric Depot. For higher quality laces I really like Elingeria. (I've seen some of the laces Elingeria sells used in Wacol's RTW bras and panties.) I would also look on Etsy, though since it is all independent sellers it is hard to know what sort of quality you're getting.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. So many great choices. I think I'll try some of the US sites first. Elingeria laces are gorgeous but the prices + shipping are steep. Maybe for a special occasion.

Well , I am from Europe ,and of course I know Elingeria has it. I always look with great attention to the webshop of Bramakers-supply in Canada

Thanks everyone for all the website suggestions. I was drooling over the lace trims and decide I couldn't wait for the shipping so I ended up buying 6"+ lace locally. I ended up piecing a wedge shape to the back. Even with a lace with obvious borders, it's wasn't that noticeable. lace panties pattern review
