Janome 11000 noise

Login to reply to this post Like this post Subject: Janome 12000 noise Date: 11/17/12 11:48 PM I tried a Janome 12000 and it was a smooth, quiet machine except for the noise the machine made whenever it started or stopped stitching, as the automatic presser foot lifted up or down. Can you turn the automatic presser foot feature off in the settings? The saleslady told me to not use the needle down feature, which left the needle up all the time.
