Oops Janome 12000 noise
tailormaid   Advanced IL USA Member since 8/19/04 Posts: 208	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 11/17/12 11:53 PM I tried a Janome 12000 and it was a smooth, quiet machine except for the noise the machine made whenever it started or stopped stitching, as the automatic presser foot lifted up or down. Can you turn the automatic presser foot feature off in the settings? The saleslady told me to not use the needle down feature, which left the needle up all the time. I think it still made the noise even when stopping with the needle up. Thanks!
