Simplicity pattern 2161 Need help with apron C
Langles1 Member since 1/19/12 Posts: 3	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 11/19/12 3:48 PM I am currently sewing apron c and am at the step where you make the folds and the pleats(the overlay)However, when I put the overlay on the apron itself it is so much smaller and doesn't cover it from end to end. I'm confused-even when I pleat the actual paper pattern itself it comes out much smaller. What am I doing wrong here? Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.

A few things that could go wrong, Are you making the pleats the right size, did you cut the currect amount of pieces for the pleated part, or was it cut on a fold and you missed that. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.
