So I finally decided that it was just silly not to take out the dang manual and figure out the tapering!

ONE button, that's ALL I have to push at the end....one little button and it ends beautifully!!

DUH me for not reading the manual sooner....

While I was finding out how dumb I was for trying to just push random buttons instead of READING which one it actually was I needed (and can you believe it was the ONLY one I didn't try??) I also found out the machine has a setting for quilting when you need multiple seams all the same length. This sounds very interesting to me, I'll have to play around with that one later.

I only have 6 more appliques to make for my Christmas quilt!

I still have not decided on a final design for the rest of it....I am so visual I HAVE to see it before I can make up my mind.

Good thing I got lots of extra fabric for this quilt!

Just think what you will learn as you keep reading the manual.

I really enjoy quilting. I love to play with fabrics, colors and pictures. I recently discovered how much fun applique can be. As I love making pictures, landscape quilting can be challenging, but seeing the picture come to life is so rewarding.

I had to get my manual out last week and found all kinds of things I didn't know about or had forgotten.

Amazing isn't it.

I have actually read the manual, and I look at bits and pieces I need all the time. But if it's not something that's relevant to me RIGHT NOW, I forget it!

LOL! Wayyyy too much information in there to remember it all if I don't actually use the feature on the machine.

Subject: Amazing what you can find in the owners manual! Date: 11/26/12 1:26 AM

I usually read through it a time or two after purchase. There is way to much to understand but sometimes I can recall that's feature it has. So then when I am planning to use that feature I brush up in the manual the night before or over morning tea. Of course some are much more well written then others. I had a few that make me go crazy.

Sew true--pun intended!
I was reading the manual of another machine I was debating on getting and discovered a little tidbit of info that probably applies to most machines--one of those 'I wonder why that's there' things. I did read my manual when I got my machine, but it's been a while. I'm going to go back over it as I know there is a lot my machine will do but I never use many of the features.
