Date: 11/28/12 2:05 AM Can't imagine buying one of those and then re-selling within a month!
New buyer has no warranty, right?
...and for $9k? ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 11/28/12 6:11 AM Actually, I "think" the machine parts are still warranteed. You simply will have to pay for labor. But I'm not positive about that. ------ Bernina Artista 630 ✂ Bernina Aurora 430 ✂ Bernina 1300MDC ✂ Babylock BLCS ✂ APQS Millennium ✂ Singer 201-2 ✂ Singer 301 ✂ Singer 401A ✂ Singer 15-91 ✂ Singer Featherweight 222K ✂ Singer Featherweight 221

Date: 11/28/12 6:17 AM Buyers remorse. But that price is higher then my dealers brand new. Plus he is offering the floor model right now with a huge Horn cabinet, Quilters Dream or the V6 software, worth about 2000.
There is someone trying to sell a 580 new in the box, for nearly 6000 when they are selling closer to 5000.
I guess if a person doesn't do their homework they can really be taken advantage of! ------ Bernina 750Q, 635E, 380, Serger 1100DC |

Date: 11/28/12 7:55 AM I saw that too, and thought, wow that's fast turnaround.
I'd have been crying in my soup if the 820 had not been everything I hoped for and more. I feel like I often don't get to use it as much, and have barely scratched the surface of what it can do, but I know everything on it works. Sometimes I'm lazy and just go to the 630 because it's so easy. ------ 🌸 Plenty of machines, mostly Berninas 🌸 |

1 member likes this. Date: 11/28/12 8:39 AM Yes, and she makes a point that the sale is final, which of course it usually is. I wouldn't touch it. They are including some expensive extras that my dealer doesn't include, but there is always the possibility that this is one of the machines with tension problems, and perhaps her dealer is not being helpful. At least that's what my *buyer beware* gut is telling me.
My dealer sells it for $8999, so no, not such a great deal even with the extras. ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE

Date: 11/28/12 8:56 AM I don't get the emails but read them on the website and I can't find that ad. Most dealers offer a 30 day money back guarantee. I wonder if it will sell. -- Edited on 11/28/12 8:58 AM -- ------ ~Diana~
